Finally, my generation is more socially progressive than our parents’ generation. We value equal rights and respect for diversity. We speak out against social issues such as sexism, racism, and discrimination. We embrace people from all walks of life and seek to create an equal society for everyone. Conversely, our parents’ generation was more likely to hold conservative beliefs. They tended to be more traditionalist in their views and less accepting of change.
